Guarantee

Within the flooring industry there are continuous product developments. Keeping up to date with the market means we have set systems in place for all of our products.

We also know that the key to a first class installation is the preparation of the sub-floor, in our experience the majority of floors that we have been called upon to repair or replace as a result of another contractors installation failure, are as a result of sub-standard sub-floor preparation. We take every care necessary and use the correct primers, damp proof membranes and levelling compounds that the situation requires to ensure our installations do not fail. Combined with the fact that we never cut corners and adhere to strict guidelines when installing wooden floors we are able to offer a 20 year guarantee on all installations of our products.

Our guarantee covers the manufacture and structural integrity of the floor board. It also covers the installation of the floorboads and adhesion to the substrate.

Our guarantee does not cover damage caused to the floor by external forces, be that people, animals or water etc.

Our guarantee does not cover wear to the finish. Approximately 12 months on from the installation of your floor, we will conduct a free of charge maintenance survey to assess the floors wear. From here we will specify a maintenance programme. Our guarantee is subject to this maintenance programme being adopted by yourselves or having us come and conduct this work for you as this will protect the floor and prevent any damage or degradation to the wood itself. A correctly specified maintenance programme should only involve a good clean and an additional coat of the appropriate finish. In normal living conditions we would expect this maintenance to be required between every 2 - 4 years - possibly longer in low traffic areas.

Please be aware that in a domestic setting just basic care and cleaning are enough to keep your floor looking fantastic for many years.
