We absolutely adore restoring original wooden floors! In an age when original features are becoming fewer and further between we take enormous pleasure in restoring tired old wood to its former glory. The effect can be absolutely stunning and completely rejuvenate a tired looking house. We restore original pine floor boards, we can finish them with traditional waxes or more contemporary oils, lacquers and stains to give them a new look that ties in with more modern tastes without sacrificing or diminishing their original beauty.		We also restore original hardwood parquet floors, in which many cases due to damage, wear or renovation an element of patching in or replacing is required. Customers often say to us that they thought their floor was beyond repair, however we have the capacity to have like for like timber machined to the exact same section size to marry up with the original boards, therefore saving a beautiful original feature from being covered over or ripped up. More recently installed floors that have seen better days with their original finish having worn away can also be sanded and brought back as good as new.
